BRIDGING GENERATIONS

Our congregation has always placed an emphasis on children and families. And God has done amazing things over our last 100 years!

Today, we know there is more God wants for us and through us to reach our community in these next 100 years. We’re committed to building bridges to the next generation, and we’re ready to watch in awe what God will unfold next.

Now is the time to build the bridge to the next generation!

The PRIMARY Goal

To continue and expand our core commitment as a church, we want to renew, improve and enhance the church’s facilities that are dedicated to children and families. When this project is complete, the church will have a safe area for children to learn more about Jesus, as well as expanded space for adult and family connection. This is truly a multi-generational approach to our growing ministry.

Yes, more updates are needed because our congregation is continuing to grow and evolve. We need more functional space that is laid out in a strategic way to welcome more people and to help them feel their children are safe and that the environment makes them feel comfortable.

We are focused to improve our space so that we can welcome, connect with and serve even more children and families in our community.

Yes, it is possible. We have done the necessary planning, and we know God is calling us to stretch in our faith and obedience as a full congregation to participate in this campaign together. We have confidence that our church can handle financing of $4 million. However, we don’t believe we will need to convert $4 million into a loan at the end terms of our three year interest only construction loan.

We are working with an experienced design build partner – who specializes in working with churches – to ensure that the ministry of Bridges Christian Church can move forward throughout our phases of construction.

We have consulted with others and prayed together as a leadership team. We are unified that God wants us to move forward with this plan at this specific time.

We wouldn’t be where we are without your commitment and generosity. You will not need to do anything different. We just ask you to continue on this journey with us.

Bridging Generations is a call to sacrificial, gospel-centered generosity for absolutely everyone at Bridges. If you have never given before, this is your chance to get in the game with a committed sacrifice. We really hope you will.

Bridging Generations is about your total, radical, sacrificial generosity to God’s mission at Bridges. We believe that God calls us to action in times of hardship just as much as He does in times of abundance, and that looks different for every person. Bridging Generations is about a heart change — one that is only accomplished by surrendering our lives completely over to God in this area of giving. So that may mean that you are being challenged to sell things, to pick up odd jobs, or even to trust God in faith by making a commitment that you don’t quite know how to fulfill right now but that you believe God will provide for as you seek for ways to sacrifice and work towards that commitment. We would love for 100% of us to be a part of Bridging Generations so that we can all be supporting, loving, encouraging, and praying for one another through this spiritually-stretching season at Bridges.
